Founder Gary Taylor was born and raised in Charlottesville, and it’s where he started our firm years ago.  Throughout the years, Gary has served in leadership roles with the Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce, Central Virginia Estate Planning Council, the Central Virginia Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, and the Leadership Charlottesville Alumni Association.  He has twice been awarded the National Community Service Award by Northwestern Mutual and was named the Small Business Person of the Year in 2013 by the Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce.
 
In addition to being an active member of several organizations around town, Gary currently serves on the board of the historic Paramount Theater and the Emily Couric Cancer Center affiliated with the University of Virginia Health System.
